Baris flips the Funk from Sunday to Monday for the blissed and blessed Disco kids of Istanbul and beyond. Making the switch from Hip Hop to dirty Disco Funk after discovering Turkish Folk Rock artist Baris Manco, his current allies include Paris' D.I.R.T.Y Sound System and Metro Area's Darshan Jesrani. When not headlining clubs and festivals all on his ownsome he teams with Deep House doyens like Roy Ayers, Larry Heard and Danny Wang, and brings supersized bass, Turkish woodwind, gently popping guitars and a spacey, echoing synth sound that is pure, indulgent Turkish delight.
